This 18cm Santoku chef's knife made in Nitrum stainless steel is part of the Riviera series by Arcos and is characterized by its intelligent design which provides to this knife an important comfort of use.
The Riviera kitchen knives series is forged from a single piece of hardened, taking an exclusive and high quality steel as a starting point: NITRUM. Indeed, Nitrum is a nitrogen enriched, eco-friendly stainless steel formula. It permits to improve the hardness, to enhance the cutting power, to improve the durability and also the microstructure of all the kitchen knives. Moreover, its granton edge blade makes the slicing easier as the air will go between the blade and the ham.
The Riviera handle is designed to adapt to the contour of the hand and, combined with the colour of the metal with its contrasting black, it gives to this santoku chef's knife a nice appearance. Manufactured from forged stainless steel and polyoxymethylene (POM), this santoku chef's knife has a really beautiful finish, is detergent resistant and has a high tolerance to wear and tear as well as resistance to high and low temperatures (from -40 to +150°C).
