Which exact diameter?
At this size, every centimetre counts. Measure the inner opening of your vessel rim to rim and select the matching lid: a 14, 16 or 18 cm model will only seal a vessel of the same diameter. For wider vessels, see the 20 to 25 cm or over 25 cm lids.
Which material?
Stainless steel withstands knocks, the oven and intensive washing, suiting repeated professional use. Glass lets you monitor cooking without lifting. Also check the knob: a bakelite grip stays cool to the touch but limits oven use.
