Tealight or mood candle?

The tealight serves a functional purpose : it powers a warmer or a stand to keep a dish at temperature. Candles in a pot or in a cup answer a more decorative, ambiance-led need.

Which burn time to favour?

For a restaurant service, burn time determines how many candles to plan per evening. Candles in a pot generally offer a longer life than the thinner cup models.

Container or no container?

Pot and cup models limit dripping and protect the surface. The candle without pot requires a suitable holder or lantern.

What are fountains used for?
