Which material should you choose?

Porcelain remains the benchmark for cups and bowls: durable, taste-neutral and suited to professional dishwashers. Tempered glass works well for mugs and tumblers thanks to its resistance to impact and temperature changes. Stainless steel and stoneware add a contemporary touch to coffee and tea service.

Home or professional use?

For a café, hotel or restaurant, favour stackable models that withstand repeated wash cycles and are available as a full service to simplify restocking. At home, the choice depends more on style and the capacity you want.

How to build a coherent service?

Combine cups, saucers, milk pots and sugar dispensers from the same collection for a harmonious table. Which capacities to plan for?

Coffee cups are around 8 to 12 cl, breakfast cups and mugs 25 to 35 cl, and bowls 40 to 55 cl. Match volumes to the type of drink and the customers served.
