Choosing the right cutlery set
How many pieces for how many guests?
As a rule, count four to six pieces per guest for everyday use (fork, knife, spoon, plus dessert pieces). A 24-piece set covers six settings, while a 48-piece set equips twelve guests. For larger gatherings, look at the 72-piece or 100-piece and over formats.
Which material and finish?
18/10 stainless steel remains the benchmark for its corrosion resistance and dishwasher safety. The finish depends on your table: mirror polish for a classic look, satin or matt for a contemporary feel.
