What makes the Valençay collection distinctive

Valençay is built as a complete white Pillivuyt porcelain service, designed to cover every table moment: main meal, after-coffee, tea, breakfast. The porcelain is produced at Mehun-sur-Yèvre from the in-house paste (kaolin, feldspar, quartz) and fired at high temperature, giving it the hardness, whiteness and fineness characteristic of the brand.

The 26 cm dinner plate is the main table size for meat, fish and main courses. The 22 cm plate is more versatile: generous starter, flat dessert, light course, cheese service. Both sizes coexist within the collection, which allows you to build a multi-course service while staying in the same porcelain.

Which cup: espresso, tea or breakfast?

The 8 cl espresso is dedicated to espresso or ristretto. The 18 cl tea cup suits afternoon tea service. The 30 cl breakfast cup is the café au lait, hot chocolate or large morning tea size. The collection covers all three uses with their matching saucers (16.4 cm breakfast saucer in particular).
