Welcome to our Mepra boutique, an Italian tableware and kitchen utensil manufacturer based in the Lumezzane Valley, in Lombardy, the historic heartland of Italian cutlery. Heir to the Prandelli family workshop founded in 1901, the Mepra brand — short for "Metallurgica Prandelli" — was created by sons Pietro, Felice and Giacomo Prandelli, and turned to stainless steel cutlery as early as 1950. Today Mepra exports its flatware, cookware and tableware worldwide, and collaborates with Pininfarina on its STILE design collections.

What is a PVD finish at Mepra?

PVD (Physical Vapor Deposition) is a vacuum process that deposits a thin, hard metal layer (titanium, zirconium, oxides) on stainless steel, producing durable tones: gold, copper, rose, black, bronze. PVD offers better durability than a simple decorative coating, provided use and care instructions are followed. The Avangarde and STILE collections make it a signature.
