What makes the Gelo Box collection distinctive

Gelo Box combines thick Bormioli Rocco glass with a coloured food-grade plastic lid: the glass preserves without retaining odours or staining, the red lid makes the range instantly recognisable in a cupboard or fridge. Diameters are calibrated (11, 15, 18 and 23 cm depending on the set) to nest for storage and form a complete series that ultimately takes up the volume of the largest container alone.

Why round glass boxes rather than plastic ones?

Bormioli Rocco glass does not retain odours or staining (tomato, turmeric, garlic), does not absorb grease and cleans fully in the dishwasher. Unlike food-grade plastic that stains and keeps the trace of strongly flavoured foods, glass comes back to new on every cycle. This is the range's central argument against classic Tupperware.

What's in a Gelo Box set?

The set of 4 combines four round glass boxes with their red plastic lids, in diameters 11, 15, 18 and 23 cm. The set of 3 reuses the first three sizes without the 23 cm. The boxes are calibrated to nest, simplifying storage.
