The Degrenne House was born in post-war France in 1948! Its silversmith workshops still based in Vire in Normandy give life to exceptional articles forged and polished with care. Subsequently, in the 60s, he developed a business of tableware (plates, bowls, saucers) and turned to high-end cutlery to popularize luxury goldsmithery.
At the end of the 7O’s, it's the climax: Degrenne asserts its notoriety in the art of goldsmithery and tableware domain, and especially to the French public.

In the 80’s, the Degrenne range expands and extends to all table items through the acquisition of porcelain Limoges and Hungary manufacturing. The range in addition to all stainless steel silverware items (stainless steel knives, forks, spoons, cutlery sets) now includes drinkware, plates, breakfast accessories, cups and saucers, teapots created by expert hands. Subsequently, Degrenne adds to its panel the French expertise Thiers cutlery and various table articles (linen, napkin). In just a few decades, the Guy Degrenne brand will enter the 21st century and become a symbol of the French way of life, its heritage and its regional expertise.
